This blog was created solely for the wonder of expression. I love to write and these ludicrously grandiose interpretations are my greatest guilty pleasure. I hope that you find the delight in reading them that I found in writing them. These are my personal opinions, and independent thoughts, so I'm well aware they may not apply to everyone. I love both writing, and the compositions of others. I find poetry particularly absorbing in it's diversity and freedom of verbalization. So through the acknowledgement of these truths I came to create this blog it will be a compilation of various different personal translations and dissections of famous poems, hopefully one for everyday of the week(save the weekends). If you find any errors whether factual or grammatical please inform me, any criticism is welcome. Thank you for stopping by, and I wish you pleasure filled reading.

Dear Indigo Raven- You make me recall my first year English class in college. Me and 12 other young girls and an english teacher who loved poetry. We had to read and then interpret. As you seem to do all so well. (I'm so proud you you!!!). I was so lost in that class. You would have been his "Star". I have some old poems therein the archives. No longer write. Hopefully someday I will return. I really really stick at the English language and can not write my way out of a wet paper bag, hence the dropping punctuation on purpose. I forget which famous poet did so. I used poetry as a cathartic escape in a troubled period of my life, saving the rawest one to myself. My first attempts were mere grade school rhymes but as I practice, I felt I improved a smidgen. Maybe middle school work... Lol. It was merely a release for me and friendship of other thespians. I don't compare to your works. All though I did win a contest with one and I am proud of only a few more. Say hello to Gerry and Becky for me! And as always....Write On! JoAnn Comments are closed.
